A day in Paris through a bird’s eyes

Conceived for the Hermès exhibition “Wanderland — Dans l’œil du flâneur”, this staged dinner offers a journey through Paris from a bird’s perspective.

From the sky to balcony ironwork, façades, gardens and carousels, then on to the city at night and the stars, a series of scenes unfolds throughout the meal.

A table in motion

With the arrival of each dish, projected images, sound and the choreography of service respond to one another. Animated drawings interact with the food, tableware and scenery to compose an ever-changing Parisian landscape.

Concept and art direction

Development of the overall concept, scenography and culinary design. Art direction in collaboration with Studio Plastac and sound and lighting designers, production follow-up and live event coordination, including cueing the different interventions during the dinner.
