A culinary, graphic and sound performance
Conceived with Studio Plastac and 31db, Empreintes is a culinary, graphic and sound performance. The audience is invited to operate a production line for making and tasting chocolate fruit, as tangible as it is imaginary. Different states of matter unfold.
Chocolate as a projection surface
The white surface of chocolate is transformed by video projections following a fantastical and spectacularscenario presenting a fiendish technique for moulding food.
A production and tasting line
The audience tests aromas and textures, tasting chocolate in every state, from raw material to its most elaborate form. By eating the offered bites, participants absorb their imaginary and physical characteristics, and what they tell us about the illusion of food production: technology imitating nature in order to surpass its benefits.
