Aranéide and movement

Working at the intersection of sound creation and digital technologies, choreographer Myriam Gourfink explores the duration of the choreographic phrase. In her pieces, dance unfolds slowly, revealing the density of bodies and ultimately the very substance of movement. Aranéide, created in the permanent circus building in Reims for this Grand Soir, takes these questions several metres above the ground, on a fine Kevlar structure resembling a spider’s web.
