Ice Dream and melting ice
For Daniel Larrieu, dance is first and foremost a way of looking at the world. Invited by the association Les Robinsons des glaces, he travelled to southern Greenland in 2010 to witness melting ice and its impact on the environment. Created following this expedition, the video installation Ice Dream presents the ambivalent image of two vulnerabilities: humanity facing nature, and nature subjected to humanity, caught in a shared drift.
