Hermès Moscow

A dream of colours

Art direction and culinary design for the ‘Dream of Colours’ dinner conceived for the opening of the Hermès store in Moscow, co-written with Studio Plastac in collaboration with chef Bertrand Grébaut. A complete experience combining gastronomy, culinary design and interactive video.

A table in motion

The dinner follows a narrative paced by the arrival of dishes, the choreography of the servers, the movement of projected drawings and sound design. The table, tableware and food become screens for a ‘dream’ in which guests are invited to immerse themselves throughout the meal.

Six pictorial sequences

Graphic compositions respond to the food and come to life throughout the tasting in six sequences, each echoing an abstract pictorial technique: watercolour, pointillism, graphic patterns, textures, kinetic effects and paper cut-outs. Some interactive video sequences allow guests to play with sounds and patterns: moving ink blots with sweeping gestures, spinning coloured discs with a movement of the hand, or breaking and multiplying fragments of colour.
