Foo(d)ture is an interactive, digital and edible lecture devised with Studio Plastac for FuturOKlatsch #2, an environmentally responsible festival introducing alternatives to current production and food practices.
Presented by four researchers, it takes an unconventional look at the question ‘What will we eat tomorrow?’
Between science and fiction
The four scientists present their research into new production methods such as ‘Real Aquapony’ and ‘vertical cultivation of compressed fruit’.
Through illustrated, diagrammatic and animated explanations, they develop their theories and invite the audience to test and taste the results of culinary experiments and visual research somewhere between science and fiction.
