Un paradis artificiel
Pascal Houdin et Dominique Boivin - Ni d'ève ni d'Adam - Grand soir #8 - Manège de Reims
A paradise to taste
Ni d’Ève, ni d’Adam is a dance duet set in an unusual paradise, where animals are taxidermied and urban signs display a succession of warnings. A couple inhabits this Eden, detached and elegant. Beneath their dark jackets, however, original nakedness begins to show. A somewhat artificial paradise, like the one that greets the audience after the performance: apples float magically in the air above lush salads.
The meal
• Layered salads with quinoa and roasted chestnuts • Clementines with mint and basil • Red and yellow cherry tomatoes • Baby carrots with honey and cumin • Raw purple cauliflower • Avocado, baby spinach and mustard • Two white hard-boiled eggs in their shells
